terms and conditions

By booking with Nharangga Aboriginal Cultural Tours, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The term ‘tour’ refers to all events and activities offered by Nharangga Aboriginal Cultural Tours.

The term ‘participant(s)’ refers to any individual or group booking participating in the tour.



All bookings should be made online and must be paid for in full at the time of booking. 

It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that all information requested during the booking process is correct. 

A confirmation email will be sent, please ensure all details are correct.

By booking you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older, have the power and authority to enter into a binding contract with us, and that the information that you provide is true, accurate and current.

The person making the booking is deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all persons included in the booking. It is your responsibility to read and understand these Terms and Conditions and to ensure the other persons, on behalf of whom you make the booking, read and understand them also.



All prices are inclusive of GST where applicable and are in Australian dollars (AUD).

Prices are correct as of 01/07/2023 but may be changed without notice.

Full payment must be made at the time of booking. For group bookings by organisations please contact us to arrange invoicing.



Itineraries are correct at the time of publication but may vary due to circumstances beyond our control, including, but not limited to, seasonal conditions, extreme weather, natural disasters, cultural concerns and illness.

Tours may be modified or cancelled at the discretion of the tour guide in the case of inclement weather or conditions that cause concerns for the safety of participants.



Participants are expected to respect and abide by the cultural practices, customs, and protocols of Nharangga culture and Country.

We reserve the right to terminate the participation of any individual or group whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful to the cultural integrity of the tour.

By booking a tour you agree to strictly adhere to any and all reasonable directions by the tour leader whose decision is final on all matters likely to affect the safety or well-being of any person participating, cultural sites or the environment.

Nharangga Aboriginal Cultural Tours are low impact but do require walking over natural ground that may include trip hazards and obstacles such as paddocks and scrub.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes, a water bottle and wear clothing appropriate for the weather conditions predicted on the day.

No toilet facilities are available on site. The closest are at the Harry Butler Memorial precinct off North Terrace, Minlaton.

Nharangga Aboriginal Cultural Tours reserves the right to dismiss participants from any tour in the case of unacceptable behaviour. No refund will be made in this circumstance.



Children are welcome on our tours but must be supervised by an adult.

Participants aged 18 years and over will be charged at adult prices.

Participants aged 5 to 12 will be charged at a reduced rate.

Participants aged under 5 may accompany adult carers at nil cost.


Please respect the Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) rights of Nharangga Traditional Custodians and comply with any relevant cultural protocols.

Ensure that Nharangga Traditional Custodians continue to be acknowledged as owners of any ICIP revealed during cultural tours.

All materials, including but not limited to photographs, videos, and written content, produced during the tour remain the intellectual property of Nharangga Aboriginal Cultural Tours and may not be used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.



No refunds will be made if the participant fails to arrive in time for departure or decides to leave early.

No cancellation fees will be charged if more than 48 hours notice is given, within 48 hours or in the event of a no-show 100% of the experience price will be charged.

Should it be necessary to cancel a tour at any time before departure due to cultural reasons, extreme weather, natural disasters, government direction or illness you may choose to transfer your booking to another product or date or receive a full refund.

Every effort will be made to advise guests in a timely manner, but there may be times when Nharangga Aboriginal Cultural Tours will be forced to cancel tours due to cultural reasons, or other issues beyond our control.



While all attempts are made to ensure the accuracy of information in relation to Nharangga Aboriginal Cultural Tours, we accept no responsibility for oversights, errors or omissions.

Itineraries may be adjusted or cancelled in order to best care for our guests in the case of adverse weather or road conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Nharangga Aboriginal Cultural Tours takes all due care but accepts no liability for injury, illness, death, theft, damage, or other loss to any person or property, including those caused by the actions of third parties. Participants’ belongings are their own responsibility.



Nharangga Aboriginal Cultural Tours reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Participants will be subject to the Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of their booking.

By booking a tour, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
